Council has announced that Mr. Moyer is one of only seven
dedicated Scouters in Council this year to receive the highest recognition for
service to youth, the Silver Beaver Award.
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest award a local council can present to an adult volunteer of the
Boy Scouts of America. The award is presented to those volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the Scouting program. Nominations are recommended by the local council and approved by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
The award will be presented at the Annual Council Recognition Dinner on February 21, 2013.
