Iron Chef 2012

At the December 13 Troop Meeting, we held an Iron Chef competition with the theme of cobbler. Each patrol planned a different recipe. This was the first Iron Chef experience for the 1st year scouts and it seemed like each of them had a great time cooking in the competition. The patrols planned out what kind of cobbler they were going to make at the meeting the week before and figured out who was going to get the supplies.

Thanks to Mr. Reeves there was a nice warm fire when everyone arrived at the cabin. And by the time the patrols were ready to put the dutch ovens on the fire there were a lot of nice hot coals waiting for them! The cobblers were judged by two adult leaders and Chris K.

The winner of the 2012 Iron Chef will be announced this week.

Holiday Flower Sale 2012

This year's sale was fantastic!  We sold almost 400 poinsettias and wreaths. I'm sure our customers were happy with what they bought!

The Holiday Flower Sale is a great way for the Scouts to earn money for their scout accounts. Thanks to Mrs. Frisbie for organizing the sale this year.
