After weeks of getting ready, Klondike finally arrived. The
weather was amazing with just the right amount of snow.
Everyone had a great time especially the guys doing their
first Klondike. Even the adult leaders
who volunteered looked like they were having fun.
There were 31 sleds teams from 16 different Scout troops
from our council.
There were many different events and we had a hard time
getting to all of them. From what I heard people chattering about, each sled
team did their best to score points and have fun.
At the end of the day on Saturday, everyone was very tired,
but we all survived Klondike 2013.
Congratulations to each of the groups who won a trophy! The
Dragons sled team from 137 took 3rd place in the Warriors Division
and Da Blues sled team took 3rd place in the Braves division. The Warriors also took 3rd place
in the sled race at the end of the day. Great work guys!
